Dialled Number Display™ (DND) User Guide

About DND

When DND is set and someone calls your FleXtel number, your caller display will show the dialled FleXtel number.
This replaces the usual display of Calling Line Identity (CLI) and you can now answer the call in the correct manner for family, friends, colleagues, customers, adverts etc.

How to activate DND

Login to your Account, using your Account Number or any FleXtel Number and your alphanumeric password.
In the Account page, next to each FleXtel number and under the column marked DND, is a box that can be clicked in order to enable (ON) or disable (OFF) the DND feature.

Examples of DND in Use

Identifying calls to company departments:
Use one number for each department. i.e. one for Sales, one of Support, one for Accounts and one for Out of Hours calls. Now you can answer the call in the correct manner.

Identifying the priority of calls:
Two numbers given to family and friends...

Advertising:
Same advert in several publications...

Giving a caller their own FleXtel number:
A regular caller may have different CLI's, no CLI or switchboard CLI. An international caller may not be able to pass their CLI.

For a scenario as a detailed example, See our Application Notes: DND and Panasonic DECT Handsets page.
